Bow Valley Agricultural Society is a volunteer, non-profit group that oversees the safe and responsible operations of Indus Recreation Centre and associated facilities.
OUR MISSION
The role of the Bow Valley Agricultural Society is to encourage community spirit for individuals/families living in our rural community through integrity and professionalism. To develop and maintain facilities, enable volunteers, support programs and related services based on community needs.
VISION
1. Meet needs of the community utilizing current infrastructure by providing a second ice surface to our growing community(Langdon growth 2009 - 3500 and in 2015 – 15000) while addressing current environmental water issues.
2. Offer different programs and options to meet social and recreational needs.
3. Promote volunteerism and encourage participation by being community role models.

BVAS's Board of Directors provides strategic guidance to the Recreation Center, sets policy direction, and ensures that we are fairly reporting our progress and maintaining high ethical standards.
BVAS's Board of Directors comprises of 17 directors. All Directors are comprised entirely of hockey. figure skating, ringette parents and local community members. If you are interested in being on our board or just attending one of our meetings, please contact the office for more information.
